Life can sometimes be scary. We always want to keep our loved ones, children, friends and even ourselves safe throughout the day, emotionally and physically. It’s a natural instinct to protect the things we love most in our lives. Lucky for us, we have a little extra help to make sure that they stay safeguarded. Our Lord is always watching out for us, even when we may not realize it or think about Him during the busiest moments in our days. God knows exactly what we need and when we need it. Whether you’re calling for protection on yourself, your home, your children, or simply the world, know that the Lord is listening and He will answer when the time is right.

“Oh Lord my God, how excellent is Your name in all the earth. You are the King of kings and the Lord of lords. There is none like You and there’s none that can be compared unto You. What You say is what You do.  You are God from beginning to the end, You are the same yesterday, today and forever. For all that You have done Lord, I give You thanks.

Lord God, I pray for Your protection as I begin this day. You are my hiding place, and under Your wings, I can always find refuge. Protect me from trouble wherever I go and keep evil far from me. No matter where I am, I will look to You as my Protector, the one who fights for me every day. Your love and faithfulness, along with Your goodness and mercy, surround me daily, so I will not fear whatever might come against me. My trust is in You, God, and my hope is in You. Father, please surround me with Your angels in every step I take today. Come and take total control over my activities today. Bless the food I will eat and the water I will drink today. Let Your favor and Your grace be upon me. Deliver me from any trap the enemy has set for me today. I ask that You guide me to take the right steps, oh Lord, and prevent my foot from slipping. Your word says in  Psalms 32:7 that You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Father, I have nothing to fear because I know You are always with me. Surround me with Your divine hedge of protection. Encompass me round about with Your strength and Your might.

I thank You, Father, for Your divine protection and covering. I know I do not have to fear because I trust in You and You are always with me. Please protect my relationship with You and give me the grace to continually put You first in everything I do. I thank You that by faith in the work You have done, I am protected and secured everywhere I go. I thank You for an answered prayer in Jesus’ name I have prayed, Amen.”
