“Our Father in Heaven, I thank You for this day. I thank You that despite my flaws and shortcomings, You still love me and care for me. Father, I thank You for how far You have brought me. It’s not my mind and it’s not by my power, but it’s just by Your grace and Your mercy that You have shown to me.

Gracious God, I come before You just as I am today and I ask for protection upon my life. Father let Your protection be open my life. Protect me in my going and my coming. Protect me at my workplace and protect me in my home. In everything that I do and wherever I go, let Your protection be upon me. Father, I commit my family into Your hands, let Your protection be upon them and I ask that You protect everyone that is dear to my heart. Father, as the year is coming to an end, I ask that You guide us and shield us. Mark us for untouchable and let Your Holy ghost fire be a wall of fire around us. I soak my family and me in the blood of Jesus. Let the blood of Jesus speak for us.

Let the Holy Spirit come and dwell in us. Help us cross over into the new year safely. Any plans of the enemy assigned against our lives shall never come to pass in Jesus’ name. Any orchestration of evil the causes problems in our lives and prevent us from entering into the new year, let it be destroyed in the name of Jesus. Father, give us the grace to end this year on a good note, give us the grace to end this year without any bad news and usher us into the new year successfully.  Let Your light shine upon our paths and order our steps in anything that we do.

Your word says in Psalms 17:7-8 that, “ show Your marvelous loving kindness by Your right hand, oh You who save those who trust in You from those who rise up against them. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me under the shadow of Your wings.” Father, I stand on Your word and I ask that You save me from those who rise up against me. I stand on Your word and I declare that I am the apple of Your eye because I trust in You and anyone who trusts in You Lord, will never be put to shame. Continue to hide me under the shadow of your wings Lord and let Your will be done in my life.

Your word says I should stand still and see the salvation which You will accomplish for me today. For the Egyptians I see today, I shall never see them again forever. For You will fight for me, and I shall hold my peace. I know You have done it, Lord, in Jesus’ name I have prayed, Amen.”
